Tiers are the different levels of Animals you can achieve during a run. To upgrade to the next Animal or tier of animal, you must earn XP through different types of food or killing other Animals. This is the tier list:

Tiers

Tier 1

The first tier in Mope.io; tier 1 animals are among the most simple and basic animals in the game. They typically have very few capabilities, except for potentially a passive ability. Through eating basic food sources such as berries, plankton and dates, progressing on from tier 1 only takes a few minutes at most. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

MouseBeta.png Mouse
The Mouse is the first animal that can be chosen in the Land biome. Its only ability is to climb trees, and does so at a slow pace.
Newer Shrimp.png Shrimp
The Shrimp is the first animal that spawns in the Ocean biome. It can move fast in bodies of water, but moves slow on land-masses. Shrimps will sprint when injured by a predator.
New-Chipmunk.png Chipmunk
The Chipmunk is the first Arctic-spawning animal. It also can only climb trees, at a slow pace.
New-Kangaroorat.png Desert Rat
The Desert Rat is the first option for the Desert biome. It can also climb trees, and will automatically start rapidly sprinting when injured by predators.

Tier 2

At this tier, animals begin to develop Special Abilities that will help them survive and level up faster. Levelling up is still mostly no big deal, and should take not a long time provided one eats XP-fulfilling foods. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

New Rabbit.png Rabbit
The Rabbit is the second animal that spawns in the Land biome. It can move as fast as a Pig in the mud, however it cannot dive in the mud. They can't be tail-bitten, as they do not have a tail, and by pressing W, which creates a hiding-hole that can last for 20 seconds if unused.
Pigeon.png Pigeon
The Pigeon is the second animal that spawns in the Land biome. It has a flying ability, as when you click W, and keeps flying if you keep holding the key, but slowly stops flying after a matter of time. However, the cooldown time is 8 seconds if on land, but only 4 seconds if on a hill.
New-Trout.png Trout
The Trout is the second spawning ocean animal. It has a sprint ability by pressing W, and will gain some speed momentarily but loses a bit of water in the process. Alike most ocean animals, it moves swiftly in the ocean but is slow on land.
New-ArcticHare.png Arctic Hare
The Arctic Hare is the second spawning option for the arctic biome. Alike the Rabbit, its ability is to burrow a small hole by pressing W, which stays for 20 seconds without being occupied.
New-DesertChipmunk.png Desert Chipmunk
The Desert Chipmunk is the second spawning option for the desert biome. It's ability is a 'Spit Food' ability, which can be activated by pressing W, and it will boost the animal forwards. The Desert Chipmunk's food can be any given combination, and the food can also stun the animal that comes in contact with it.

Tier 3

The third tier in Mope.io begins to develop slightly more useful special abilities, and gain passive ones. Options in terms of food broaden, but levelling up is still trivial. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

Newmole.png Mole
The Mole is one of the two tier 3 Land animals that can be chosen in the Land biome. By holding W, it can dig underground, similarly to diving under water. Moles cannot boost when digging.
Chicken.png Chicken
The Chicken is one of the two tier 3 Land animals that can be chosen in the Land biome. Chickens can climb trees and hills, at a slow rate. They also have a sprinting ability like the Shrimp and Desert Rat, but it is a Special Ability and can be activated to the user's request.
New-Crab.png Crab
The Crab is the third animal that can be chosen in the Ocean biome. Unlike most other ocean animals, crabs can survive on dry land-masses, and thus are able to climb hills and rocks. Their special ability is to hide in a shell, which reduces damage but slows movement for the Crab. Additionally, crabs do not have tails, and can't be bitten by prey.
New Penguin.png Penguin
The Penguin is the third animal that can be chosen in the Arctic biome. When on a patch of ice, Penguins can slide on it by holding W. When sliding, they increase in speed and have slightly more control.
New-Meerkat.png Meerkat
The Meerkat is the third animal that can be chosen in the Desert biome. Like the Mole, it can dig underground. However, the dig lasts for not as long, but will leave behind small patches of mud that slow down any animal that can't move around swiftly on it. Meerkats also can move fast on quicksand.

Tier 4

Tier 4 is mostly just a generic low tier. However, they can eat Ducklings and Eggs, which is quite advantageous, as well as Mangoes. The reliance on abilities isn't significant, but predation is more of a threat since up to tier 11 can eat tier 4 animals. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

Piggy.png Pig
The Pig is a fourth animal for the land biome, and moves swiftly in mud. It has a 'Stink Cloud' ability, by pressing W, which creates a brown cloud that makes the animal lose health and say "YUCK!". This works on all animals from tier 1-tier 12, and also will affect anyone inside a hiding hole/whirlpool. Pigs can move fast in water, mud, and can dive in both of them.
Woodpecker.png Woodpecker
The Woodpecker is another fourth animal for the land biome, and has a Fly/Peck ability by pressing W. It can Fly by using the ability on a hill, and can Peck by pressing W on land, causing stunning and slight damage. The peck is a very short-ranged ability.
NewSeal.png Seal
The Seal is the fourth animal in the arctic biome, and can slide swiftly on ice by pressing W, increasing its speed and slightly its grip. They can also climb hills and rocks.
Sea Horse Replacement.png Sea-horse
The Sea-horse is the fourth animal that can be chosen in the ocean biome, and has a sprint ability by pressing W, alike the Trout and Cheetah. Like all others, it is slow on land and fast in water.

Kakapo.PNG Kakapo
The Kakapo is a fourth tier animal that can be chosen in the TimberLand biome. It is able to climb on trees and hills. By holding W, the Kakapo will hop around and bite, extending its wings and sprinting.

Tier 5

Tier 5 is near a significant progression in the food chain; more options are available, and there is a larger quantity of predators that pose threat to these animals. Additionally, tail-biting is a more effective strategy, but food resources and the worth of prey are still slightly limited at this point. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

New deer.png Deer
The Deer is the fifth animal that can be chosen in the Land biome. By holding W, it can dig for food when on dry land. The ability can produce any combination of food, mainly mushrooms and berries. Richer pickings are often found in mud.

Flamingo.png Flamingo
The Flamingo is one of the fifth animals that can be chosen in the Ocean biome. When in water bodies, by holding W it can dig for food, producing Plankton and A.I. animals. If holding W from a hill, the Flamingo will fly for a time. It can climb hills and survive well on dry land for an Ocean animal, but cannot dive underwater.
Newest Reindeer.png Reindeer
The Reindeer is the fifth animal that can be chosen in the Arctic biome. Like its Land counterpart, the Reindeer also has the special ability of digging up food. However, it also has the passive ability of having grip on ice, meaning the Reindeer will move as per normal when on patches of ice.
New Gazelle.png Gazelle
The Gazelle is the fifth animal that can be chosen in the Desert biome. It can leap over hills and other animals by holding W, which also allows it to damage prey and potentially tail-bite predators.

Tier 6

This tier is somewhat of a break-through, due to each animal now being able to eat essential food sources such as Kelp, red mushrooms and the slices from melons and watermelons. New farming options are opened, and the reliance on special abilities and prey is reduced. With the aforementioned foods, tier 6 gameplay takes only a few seconds if you eat these XP-rich foods. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

Newfox.png Fox
The Fox is one of the sixth animals that can be chosen in the Land biome. By activating its ability, the Fox can kick animals out of Hiding Holes, causing them to be stunned and exit the hole, unable to enter for a few seconds. The effect works on all animals within Mouse and Crocodile tier. It can climb trees, but does so at a slow pace.

On low ground, the Peacock can hypnotise animals; prey will be stunned and pulled towards the Peacock and predators will be pushed away. The effect works on all animals within Rabbit and Cheetah tier.
Newjellyfish.png Jellyfish
The Jellyfish is one of the sixth animals that can be chosen in the Ocean biome. Unlike others of its tier, the Jellyfish has no special ability. However, any prey or A.I. animal that gets close to the Jellyfish's tentacles/tail will be stung, taking away some of its health and XP. Like other Ocean animals, it is fast in water and slow on land.
ArcticFox New.png Arctic Fox
The Arctic is the sixth animal that can be chosen in the Arctic biome. Like its Land counterpart, the Arctic Fox also has the special ability of kicking animals out of hiding holes, with the effect working on all animals from Chipmunk to Polar Bear tier. It can climb trees, but does so at a slow pace.
New Fennic Fox.png Fennec Fox
The Fennec Fox is the sixth animal that can be chosen in the Desert biome. It can whine, stunning any animal and damaging prey slightly. It also has a passive ability allowing it to see animals that are inside hiding holes. Like the other fox species, the Fennec Fox climbs trees at a slow rate.
Raven bird.png Raven
The Raven is one of the sixth animals that can be chosen in the TimberLand biome. By holding the W key, the Raven can caw and make circles around it to keep predators away and stun prey.

Newzebra.png Zebra
The Zebra is one of the seventh animals that can be chosen in the Land Biome. By holding the W key, the Zebra can do a sideways kick. it is an alternative to the Donkey, lengthening the range of the kick to the sides, but decreasing that of the centre of the tail. Animals that are close to your tail or kick range when kicking are damaged, stunned and pushed back strongly.
Newdonkey.png Donkey
The Donkey is one of the seventh animals that can be chosen in the Land Biome. By holding the W key, the Donkey can kick animals that are close enough to its tail, damaging them, stunning them and pushing them back strongly. New Red Macaw.png Macaw
The Macaw is one of the seventh animals that can be chosen in the Land Biome. By holding the W key while you're on a hill or a tree, the Macaw can disguise itself as a random animal (including AIs) to trick its preys and predators and if you to stop holding the W key or some ability affects you while you are in disguise, you will immediately stop being in disguise, but you will release a grunt saying (CAAAAWWW), creating a shockwave around you that stuns those who touch it, giving you a chance to escape. If you hold the W without being on a hill or in a tree, you will simply start flying.
New Turtle.png Turtle
The Turtle is the seventh animal that can be chosen in the Ocean biome. By holding the W key, the Turtle can hide in its shell if it is on dry land, dramatically reducing the damage from any attack. However, it cannot move very fast when hiding. It can also climb hills and rocks naturally to more easily escape predators, adding to the fact that hills and rocks are considered land, so you can also use your shell while climbing them, including the sandhills and rock of the oceans.
New MuskOx.png Muskox
The Muskox is the seventh animal that can be chosen in the Arctic biome. By holding the W key, the Muskox can charge, increasing its speed and damaging any animal it comes into contact with. The impacted entity will also experience quite a bit of knockback. However, the Muskox is unable to turn over while using its ability (except when the ability is about to end). They also have the advantageous trait of having grip on ice.
New Warthog.png Warthog
The Warthog is the seventh animal that can be chosen in the Desert biome. By holding the W key, the Warthog can start digging in the ground in search of food, generating a dust cloud that will slightly slow down any animal that passes by and when your ability ends, dropping a pile of food behind the Warthog. If you decide to stop pressing the W key while using your ability, apart from dropping food behind you, you will release a grunt (GRUNNT) and start charging quickly like the Muskox, but with turning freedom. Any prey that is charged by the Warthog will be violently pushed forward will be damaged and stunned.

New Toucan 0.png Toucan
The Toucan is also one of the ninth animals within the Land biome. Like the Gorilla, it can climb trees and hills. When holding W, it will fly and land when the player lets go of that key. If the Toucan last flew from a spot containing a source of food, it will throw that food upon landing like the Gorilla.
Newest Snow Leopard.png Snow Leopard
The Snow Leopard is the ninth animal that can be chosen in the Arctic biome. Like the land Leopard, it can climb trees and boost when pressing W.
Puffer fish.png Pufferfish
The Pufferfish is the ninth animal that can be chosen in the Ocean biome. As with most other ocean creatures, it moves fast in water and slow on land, quickly losing water there. By holding W, it will inflate; when touched the Pufferfish will stun and damage all animals that come into contact with it. When the key is released, it will exhale many water droplets.
Rattlesnake.png Rattlesnake
The Rattlesnake is the ninth animal that can be chosen in the Desert biome. It moves fast on quicksand, has a poisonous bite and is also immune to poison. By activating its special ability, the rattlesnake will produce sound-waves that stun prey and predators. The longer you hold W for, the more sound-waves will be produced.

Tier 10

At tier 10, now farming for food is a little more of a hassle, but given the right methods are used such as eating Honey Bees, it won't take too long. At this stage, Special Abilities are definitely more advanced, and there is also more Passive Abilities emerging. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

The Tiger is the tenth animal spawning option for the Land Biome. By pressing W, the Tiger uses its Ambush Attack ability, giving it a boost and causing it to grab any animal, stun and damage it for a few seconds. If the W key is held, the Tiger will generate a brown-colored bush. They can move fairly fast in water, and can climb hills and trees.
Swordfish New.png Swordfish
The Swordfish is the tenth animal spawning option for the Ocean Biome. By pressing W, the Swordfish has a Charge ability, much alike the Rhino and Warthog. It speeds the player up and stuns prey, and takes away about half the prey's health and a bit of health from the predator.
Pelican.png Pelican
The Pelican is the tenth animal spawning option for the Ocean Biome. By pressing W, the Pelican will scoop water into its mouth, picking up prey and stunning predators or equivalents. After about 5 seconds, the Pelican will begin to fly, and when landing, it will drop the water it carried. If it drops on an animal, it will be stunned for a few seconds. It can also climb hills.
New wolf.png Wolf
The Wolf is the tenth animal spawning option for the Arctic Biome. By pressing W, it will release a howl, and it calls, 'AWOOO!', stunning any animal that comes within its radius, and the animals will say 'Aaah!' in chat. Wolves have the passive ability of grip on ice, and move normally on it without slipping.
Gobibear.png Gobi Bear
The Gobi Bear is the tenth animal spawning option for the Desert Biome. By pressing W, it uses its 'Bear Attack' ability, much similar to the Bear's, but with more of a lunge to it, stunning the prey/predator and causing it to say 'Aaah!' like the Wolf's ability. It can climb hills and rocks.
Hyena.png Hyena
The Hyena is the tenth animal spawning option for the Desert Biome. By pressing W, the Hyena laughs, going "Hehehe" and releasing semi-circular soundwaves. When hit by it, you get stunned, and the message appears, "Hehe, you've been hit by a Hyena laugh!". It can also eat carcasses.

Tier 11

At this tier, farming becomes increasingly difficult. Fortunately, bees are still a reliable food source, and aloevera becomes an available option for fast XP. Most abilities of tier 11 animals are defensive or offensive based now, with more focus on defense as predators are more than likely to target you for XP. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

New Croc.png Crocodile
The Crocodile is the eleventh animal spawning option for the Land Biome. By pressing W, the Crocodile uses its 'Bite Drag' ability, similar to the T-Rex ability, and stuns and drags any animal in front of it, dragging it from side to side. It can move quickly in lakes and mud, and can eat carcasses.

Tier 12

Farming becomes a little more of a grind at tier 12. It takes 250K XP to level up, which is about 30 bees. A redeeming quality is that practically all food sources become accessible at this tier, with the exception of berries, cactus pears and dates (which is not a major deal). Alternatively, Sharks can bite snails for extra XP, and Bison can easily eat cactus and aloevera to level up, however, choosing Bison is risky because of all the Blackwidows and Komodo Dragons doing the same. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

New Rhinoceros.png Rhino
The Rhino is one of the 12th animals that spawns in the Land biome. It can move fast in water bodies, and is able to move fast/dive in mud too. When the Rhino activates its special ability, it will charge with its horn and damage prey, also causing quite a bit of knockback.
Newer Eagle.png Eagle

When dropped, prey will receive a slight sliver of damage, be stunned and immobilised for a few seconds.
New-Shark.png Shark
The Shark is the 12th Ocean animal. Like usual, it is fast in water and slow on land, losing water rapidly when on there. By pressing W, it can inflict a bite attack on prey: the prey will be shaken around, and multiple small meat pieces will drop off. After the Shark lets go, the victim will bleed and lose a little extra health.
New Wolverine.png Wolverine
The Wolverine is one of the 12th Arctic animals. It can climb trees, has good grip on ice and moves fast in water and on mud. Like the Lion, it can roar by pressing W, stunning animals for 3 to 5 seconds and slightly damaging prey.
Markhor.png Markhor
The Markhor is one of the 12th Arctic animals. The Markhor has a rare species called the Big Goat, but both variants are actually rare and won't always appear on the upgrade menu. Both Markhors can climb hills and rocks. When the Markhor presses W on low ground, it will rear backwards and then forwards, tossing prey far away and causing them to bleed upon landing back on the ground. When pressing W on a hill, a different effect occurs. A crosshair will appear, and when clicking with your cursor, the Markhor jumps to wherever that cursor was.
New Bison.png Bison
The Bison is the 12th animal in the Desert biome. By activating its special ability, it can gore animals. The Bison's horns will stick forward and it will form an angry expression, and be able to repeatedly toss prey into the air. When prey lands each time, they are slightly damaged. The more the prey is tossed, the more damage they receive. This effect also works on predators from tiers 13-15. However, they won't take damage, and tier 14-15 animals will only be able to be tossed once.

Tier 13

Tier 13 is more risky than tier 12 as it takes longer to level up and killing you is worth more XP. It shouldn't be too much of a hassle, though, because bees are still great sources of XP. Like the previous tier, you can rely on bees or cacti and aloevera. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

Hippo-0.png Hippo
The Hippo is one of the 13th animals that spawns in the Land biome. By pressing W, it groans saying 'GROANNNNN!' and stuns any animal within its radius for about 3 seconds. It moves quickly in mud and water, and immune to the river's effect.

Ostrich.png Ostrich
The Ostrich is one of the 13th animals that spawns in the Land biome. By pressing W, it lays an egg that later hatches into a baby ostrich, and if you aim a crosshair at a location, the ostrich babies will immediately follow that Crosshair. If the crosshair is aimed at an animal, it will lock onto the animal, allowing the Ostrich babies to continously follow the animal.
New Killerwhale.png Killer Whale
The Killer Whale is one of the 13th animals that spawns in the Ocean biome. By pressing W, it uses its 'Cause Wave' ability, which sends 2 shockwaves that stuns any animal that comes in contact with it, also forcing them backwards. It will also slightly damage prey, but not too much.
Sabertooth Tiger-0.png Sabertooth Tiger
The Sabertooth Tiger is one of the 13th animals that spawns in the Arctic biome. By pressing W, it uses its Double Slash ability, stunning any animal nearby. It can also climb hills, move fast in mud and water, and go into the Land and Ocean biomes without receiving burn damage.

The Komodo Dragon is one of the 13th animals that spawns in the Desert biome. By pressing W, it uses its Sweat ability, dragging and stunning the animal in front of it, and making it sweat for 30 seconds. It can also eat carcasses, and climb trees.

Tier 14

The final pre-apex tier, Tier 14 has some seriously powerful abilities. Use the same farming methods as before; if you want to play it safe, choose Blue Whale; if you want to level up fast, choose Blackwidow Spider, and if you want a balance of these, choose Elephant or another tier 14 Land animal. Apexes will treat you as an easy source of XP, so watch out for them! For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

Newelephant.png Elephant
The Elephant is one of the 14th Land animals. It can move fast in mud, and survive in the Desert without burning periodically. Its special ability is to 'Trunk Slap'; animals will be damaged and recoil slightly as a result of being slapped. It also can damage prey, and food sources, unlike other animals post-Golden Age.
GiantSpider.png Giant Spider
The Giant Spider is one of the 14th animals that spawns in the Land biome. It is able to climb hills and trees. When you press W, the giant spider will start to spin a web that grows in size. If you press W again, the Giant Spider drops the web. Webs can go over any surface, and the smaller they are, the more transparent. When prey comes into contact with a web, they will be temporarily immobilised until the web wears off. Large prey and inedible Low Tier Animals will not be able to climb on the web, and instead will be pushed back and cannot use their Special Abilities. Also, Giant Spiders with more XP will be able to generate larger webs.
Cassowary.png Cassowary
The Cassowary is one of the 14th animals that spawns in the Land biome. By holding W, it can start up a charge and will kick when letting go of W. This charge will cause the cassowary to speed up, and can be easily manoeuvred. It also will not stop charging if damaged by a predator.
New Mammoth.png Mammoth
The Mammoth is one of the 14th animals that spawns in the Arctic biome. By pressing W, it will roll a snowball and shoot it, stunning any animal that gets hit by it. It also has a grip on ice, and will move normally on it.
Newer Blue Whale.png Blue Whale
The Blue Whale is one of the 14th animals that spawns in the Ocean biome. By pressing W, it will use its Tail Slap ability, like the Elephant's, except coming out from behind rather than in front. After the slap, there will be a 'shockwave' It can kill bees and snails with one slap, and stuns any animal that comes too close. When you dive, you produce food, like the Killer Whale.
Blackwidowspidermope.png Blackwidow Spider
The Blackwidow Spider is one of the 14th animals that spawns in the Desert biome. By pressing W, it will shoot a web from behind, and a white dot will appear. By pressing W again, it will shoot and capture any animal that was where the web shot. If it was prey, by pressing W again, the spider can fish it towards them, making it much easier to eat. It can hide on rocks to use its ability, and can climb hills and rocks, it can also hide in either small or large hiding holes. It is also able to use/climb on Giant Spider webs.

Tier 15

Tier 15, more commonly referred to as 'apex tier', will be your longest tier you'll be at yet. It is the hardest to evolve, and now that even Aloevera doesn't heal you anymore, you're going to have to farm a lot to upgrade away from this tedious tier. Predators will want to attack you more, seeing as you give more XP. A perk of apex is unlocking the ability 1v1 other tier 15 or above animals; by far the most effective levling up method, if you know what you're doing. Beware, other tier 15 animals can tail-bite you. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

Thebigfoot.png The BigFoot
The BigFoot is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the Land biome, and also the first to spawn exclusively in the Amazon Rainforest. By pressing, W, it throws a spear, causing any animals to bleed for about 6 seconds. If you hold W, it creates a fire, which can even be created on water. It can be bought in the shop for 30,000 Mope Coins, or you can get it by luck with a slim chance of 1/1000.
Dragonnew.png Dragon
The Dragon is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the Land biome. By pressing W, it creates a single ball of fire, and has a fairly quick cooldown. The Dragon is immune to the Squid's Ink ability, and can swim in lava, and it also immune to the river's effect. It has a passive ability allowing it to fly, meaning the Dragon's movement speed will be consistent over all surfaces/terrains.
New Trex.png T-REX
The T-Rex is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the Land biome. By pressing W, the T-Rex uses its 'Jaw-Bite' ability, which drags any animal in front of them, causing them to bleed and make meat. It is immune to ink, and can eat carcasses and bones.
Yeti-0.png The Yeti!
The Yeti! is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the arctic biome. By pressing W, it freezes surrounding animals which makes them move slowly and they will be stunned for a few seconds. It can also hold down W to disguise as a snowball.
PhoenixOfficialArts.png Phoenix
The Phoenix is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the volcano biome. By pressing W, it creates a crosshair, and whatever animal you click on, the crosshair will lock onto that animal and aim a firetornado onto it, and will cause the animal to burn. It can climb over trees, rocks and hills, alike the Dragon. It has a fiery bite;when it bites an animal, it will burn. By pressing S, you can shoot fire.
The Snowman.png The Snowman
The Snowman is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the arctic biome. By pressing W, it freezes animals nearby (like the Yeti). It can climb hills, and turns invisible when standing still, and is immune to ink. It can be purchased at the Shop for 3,000 Mope Coins, or you can get it by luck for the slim chance of 1/2000.
Pterodactyl.png Pterodactyl
The Pterodactyl is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the desert biome. By pressing W, it will start flying high in the air, and by pressing it again will sky-dive and pick up any animal it comes in contact with. When pressing W again, the animal will be dropped onto the ground, receiving stunning and damage. The Pterodactyl runs on energy rather than water, which can be gained by eating any food source. It's also able to climb hills and rocks, and is currently immune to poison (although the latter might be a glitch).
New Kraken.png The Kraken
The Kraken is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the ocean biome. By pressing W, it will release a whirlpool that traps all animals below it. If it is a predator or equivalent, it will get stunned instead. It can't be stung by a Jellyfish and is immune to ink.
KingCrab.png King Crab
The King Crab is the fifteenth animal spawning option for the ocean biome. By pressing W, it will smash the King Crab's arms and will create a wave, stunning the animal and taking away health from it. It can also climb hills and rocks, and unlike most other ocean animals, can survive on dry land for longer periods of time without water.

Tier 16

This tier is a lot like tier 15; you can do 1v1s, and also bite other animals' tails from this tier. It's a bit easier now since you can eat tier 15 animals for high XP gain, and the special abilities are more stronger. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

D No Monster.png Dino Monster
The Dino Monster is the 16th animal that can be chosen in the Land biome. It can climb hills, and move fast in mud. By pressing W it can charge, knock and damage animals. After damaging them on ground for a few seconds, they will be thrown high into the air and receive extra damage when landing back on ground. Now there is a current glitch that if you spam space while being tossed, you will fly twice as far and escape easily.
Land Monster.png Land Monster
The Land Monster is a tier 16 animal, but also the 3rd animal to spawn in the Volcano. When its Special Ability is activated, the Land Monster will create a huge sinkhole that sucks up any animal inside that is in a close enough radius. In the chat, the Land Monster will say "ROAR!!!" whilst doing so. Like all lava animals, the Land Monster can spit fire by pressing S. However, it can also fly over everything like the Dragon - its movement speed will be consistent over everywhere except water.
New Sea Monster.png Sea Monster
The Sea Monster is the 16th animal in the Ocean. Like other ocean animals, it moves fast in water and slowly on land, quickly dehydrating on any dry surface. Unlike any other animal, the Sea Monster has an 'Air' bar instead; it will decrease whenever the Sea Monster is diving. However, when on the ocean surface, the Sea Monster suffers periodical burns about every 5 to 6 minutes. When pressing W, the Sea Monster creates a huge whirlpool that sucks in any animal, like the Kraken. Animals stuck inside it will appear to be diving, but won't actually be.
New Ice Monster.png Ice Monster
The Ice Monster is the 16th animal that can be chosen in the Arctic biome. It can climb hills at a very slow pace, and go into the Land biome without receiving burn damage. By pressing W, it can shoot an ice crystal that freezes and damages animals. This ice crystal cannot go over hills, and they also must 'grow' on the Ice Monster's back before they can be shot. The growing takes a relatively short time, and provided the crystals aren't used excessively, there will be no need to wait. Ice Monsters, when biting prey, will also inflict a freeze bite on all non-Arctic animals, causing them to slow down.
GiantScorpion.png Giant Scorpion
The Giant Scorpion is the 16th animal that can be chosen in the Desert biome. It is able to climb hills, rocks and is immune to the burning caused by lava. When activating its special ability, the Giant Scorpion will extend its pincers and grab a nearby animal, then sting it. The sting causes shivering, which will stop the victim from boosting or using special abilities. Shivering can be reduced by going into a hiding hole or whirlpool.

Tier 17

If you reached this tier, congrats! This is the final tier in the game. Like the previous two tiers, tier 17 animals can bite each other's tails and 1v1. Tier 17 animals are all lava-based, so be sure not to stray too far into the Arctic or Ocean Biomes, as lava is less easily found there. For more information and some useful strategies, you can click on the links above each brief description.

Beta BD.png Black Dragon
The Black Dragon is 17th Lava/Land animal, and one of the final animals to pick. It has the passive ability to fly over everything, meaning movement speed is consistent, no matter what terrain the Black Dragon is on. By pressing W, the Black Dragon can also shoot two large fire balls, which turns into three once you reach 20 million XP. However, when two Black Dragons/King Dragons are near each other, they will lose some health and lava periodically, and won't be able to use Healing Stones.
King Dragon.png King Dragon
The King Dragon is the other 17th Lava/Land animal and another one of the final animals to pick. It can be achieved by killing all apex animals, monsters, and another Black Dragon (not including The BigFoot and The Snowman), or instead can appear instead of the Black Dragon, but there is only a 1/1000 chance that this will happen. Like the Black Dragon, it flies over everything. It also has the special ability to shoot fire by pressing W, but it is much more powerful and is referred to as a 'fire stream', due to there being a countless quantity of fireballs, but takes away some xp. By pressing S, the King Dragon can also do a tail-slap ability like the Blue Whale, which will inflict severe damage and if not an instant kill, a lot of recoil. However, when two Black Dragons/King Dragons are near each other, they will lose some health and lava periodically, and won't be able to use Healing Stones. There can only be one King Dragon on a server. If another one spawns, the two are forced into a 1v1.

Trivia

  • Tier 17 is the only tier to have anti-teaming features, in order to make it harder for two of the same tier to team.
    • This concept was also added to Apex and Monster tiers on the update on September 3, 2020, but removed the next day due to it causing more imbalances than intended.
