The Wiki To-Do List is a list of all current tasks that are required to maximize the quality of wiki information. Most of these tasks are doable by any user, except for any bot-related tasks, which can only be done by a member of staff that has an operating bot (currently only GaiaTheBot). To propose a new task be added to this list, make a request on the talk page or message an admin about it on their message wall.

Mope.io Current Tasks
These tasks only apply to Mope.io articles.
General
These tasks apply to a wide range of articles.
- Change any erroneous or outdated information in articles to make it reflect the current state of Mope.io.
- Correct the format of any articles that deviate from the expected structure.
- Change the infobox to display the Season 1 skin of the animal, as Season 1 skins are the default since November 15, 2024. This coincides with the file renaming task.
- Make appearance only describe Season 1 skins (listing them as the default skins) and how they change in abilities if applicable. Other sections should be deleted.
- Change the Strategy section of articles from paragraph-form to dot point-form per the announcement and also make them in third person (changing "you" to "the player").
- Add an 'Assets' subsection to the Gallery section on articles, with all animal skins and related assets. For example, see King Dragon#Assets. Screenshots should go in an "In-game" subsection below assets.
- In the 'Assets' section, underneath each skin, add the date that it is or was available in-game with {{Date}}. Some skins added or removed outside of the conventional dates may require a manual date as they don't align with a certain date. See Crocodile#Assets for examples of both cases.
- Add a 'History' section to each article that details all updates the article's topic has undergone. For an example of how to implement + syntax, see Mouse#History.
- Re-word any instances of 'Gold-Trimmed' to 'Gold Trim' as the skin pack is called 'Gold Trim' on the changelog and in the store.
- Change any instances of 'Legacy skins' to 'Classic skins'.
- Upload the Season 2 food, terrain, zombie skins, and other assets; archive them and include them in their respective articles.
- Rename assets so they comply with the file naming guidelines (recommended to do before updating the current image in infobox). Once done, update that animal's ImageLink link.
- Record animal abilities as short gifs, upload them, and add them to the respective articles and Special Abilities page.
- Add interlanguage links for each page. There are currently non-English Mope.io Wikis in Spanish, Russian, Polish and Chinese. You can also create one yourself in a language that isn't listed.
Specific
These tasks may apply to a limited range of articles.
- Note that the Arctic's floor is now light blue.
- Document the snow chilling feature introduced on December 20, 2022 and removed the next update.
- Skins will now go into tables, leaving the infobox with only winter, zombie, default, and other versions of the default skin. See Cassowary for an example.
- Add missing skins to animal articles using the template Skin. Articles may be missing 2022 Halloween skins, Christmas skins, 2022 Winter skins, Valentine's skins, and 2025 Summer skins.
- Write prices with {{CurrentCost}} (and change them to use the template if not), and use {{Deal}} for if they are in a deal.
- Upload the rest of the 2022 winter skins (please follow the file uploading guidelines before you do so and make sure you understand them). Currently the wiki is missing most Arctic and Desert skins.
- Add images to the Special Abilities article where they are necessary.
- Expand any Stubs and add images to articles lacking them.
- Correct the formatting of and update to Season 1 the following articles:
- Archive assets in the Unarchived images category.
- Update file descriptions.
- Use the Archive template if they have an archive link or can have one made, or LinkRot template if one can't be made, under the Summary section (which may have to be created).
- Place the GameFiles template under the Licensing section.
- Add the applicable asset categories. Animal assets use the respective Animal Images subcategories and skin category (e.g Season 2 Skins).
