Mud is a brown-colored terrain source in Mope.io that is exclusive to the Land biome, and host to a number of sub-terrains and food sources.
Technical
- Mud patches can only be found in the Land biome, and appear as brown patches on the minimap.
- Water spots, hills, rocks, trees and Beehives are types of terrain that are able to appear in mud
- berries, mushrooms, raspberries, carrots and water droplets are the food sources that are able to appear in mud.
- Majority of animals cannot move fast on mud, and will consequently become muddy, which also slows their movement after leaving a mud patch until it wears off. However, the excess mud can be worn off quicker by entering a water area.
- The following animals are capable of moving fast on mud, at their usual speed:
- Pig
- Chicken
- Crocodile
- Rhino
- Hippo
- Dragon
- Black Dragon
- King Dragon
- Elephant
- Cobra
- Boa Constrictor
- Wolverine
- Sabertooth Tiger
- Land Monster
- T-Rex
- Tiger
- Dino Monster
- Mammoth
- Furthermore, the Pig, Hippo, Komodo Dragon, Warthog, Crocodile, Rhino, Boa Constrictor, Donkey and Chicken are also able to dive in mud. The diving time for each particular animal is equivalent to however long they are able to dive in water. After emerging, the animal will become muddy and have to move to a non-muddy area/water area to remove the mud.
- The Meerkat is also able to create a certain type of mud by using its 'Dig' ability. The mud will be left behind after the Meerkat has dug around underground for a bit. Meerkat mud can be used by the same animals that are able to move around freely in normal mud, meaning animals can also dive in it if they have the capability of doing so.
Appearance
Mud patches are large brown circles, with uneven splotches of mud scattered around the edge of said circles. Multiple terrain and food items, most commonly hills, rocks, mushrooms, water spots and carrots, can be seen too.
