Not to be confused with: Team Stones

Healing Stones, also rarely referred to as Healing Rocks, are structures in Mope.io that spawn in all biomes, and restores the Health Bar of animals, as well as water, lava and energy bars. The feature was first added to the game on April 9, 2017.

Technical[]

  • When a player touches a Healing Stone, multiple effects will occur:
    • The person touching the stone will be healed; their Health Bar increases until it is at 100%.
    • The player's bar of either water, lava or energy (depending on the animal) will be increased until maximum capacity.
    • The player will receive XP in small increments depending on the tier of the animal they are playing as.
  • Animals that are diving underwater will still be able to use Healing Stones while diving. This also applies for the Special Abilities of the Meerkat and Mole, which is to Dig Underground.
  • There are two varieties of Healing Stones:
    • Small; spawns uncommonly in all biomes except for the Volcano.
    • Large; spawns exclusively in the Volcano. It has a much larger Health Bar than the Small Healing Stone, meaning that it can be used for a longer period of time. Only one Large Healing Stone will exist in the Volcano at a time; once one has been used up, a new one will take its place shortly after.
  • When two Black Dragons are close to each other, both will be unable to use Healing Stones.
  • The Octopus can disguise itself as a Healing Stone as part of its Disguise ability. A disguised Octopus will not provide any of the above effects.

Appearance[]

Healing stones are slightly lopsided heptagons. They look rather like pink diamonds, with darker shades of pink at their exterior, and lighter pink in the interior. As the Health Bar of healing stones decrease, they will grow smaller in size.

When animals are healing with the Healing Stone, their body will glow pink. When diving and using a healing stone, a pink circle will show up around them.

Strategy[]

  • This feature is an essential element to Mope.io: it is reliable for XP for lower tiers and a good source of water, lava or energy. As a lower tier (i.e. tiers 1 to 5), Healing Stones are reliable and easy methods of leveling up.
    • They shouldn't be too hard to find, but cannot be found in a particular location so you may have to do a little searching.
  • When the player gets to medium tiers such as tier 6 (Fox tier), other food sources can be accessed to level up quicker. However, Healing Stones are still useful for all animals regardless of their tier when they are on low health or low on water/lava/energy.
  • When being chased by a predator, the player should use Healing Stones whenever possible. While running from the predator, the player can briefly touch the Healing Stone to receive some healing power, while still staying out of reach.
    • The best way of using Healing Stones is to go to a water source and dive underneath a Healing Stone. That way, the player will be able to heal up while stalling to avoid predators at the same time.

Trivia[]

  • Although it can be used and consequently destroyed by every animal in Mope.io, it does not have a light green outline.
  • Aside from Aloevera, Healing Stones are the only substance in the game that can be used to speed up the naturally-occurring healing process.
  • There was a file in the games code discovered on November 3, 2018, that had a healstone texture with a glow. The file's name was Diamond5.png. However, this file is not used in-game despite the fact that Healing Stones glow when touched.
