The Muskox is the seventh Arctic animal in Mope.io. It's the equivalent of the Zebra, Donkey, Warthog and Turtle.
Technical[]
- Upgrades from the Fox, the Jellyfish or the Arctic Fox at 12K XP.
- Upgrades to the Walrus, Snowy Owl, Cobra, Giraffe, Stingray or Camel at 25K XP.
- Can be eaten by all Animals above it from Walrus level.
- Can charge when pressing right click or the W key, like the Rhino or the Swordfish. It makes the Muskox rush forward. When an animal is hit by a charging Muskox, it's stunned and loses twice as much health. When charging, it can only turn two seconds before the ability ends. It goes straight the whole other time.
- Can eat every animal from Arctic Hare to Arctic Fox and their equivalents.
Appearance[]
Muskox[]
The Muskox has black, tufted fur, with two curved horns. It has a long, black snout, and a small furry tail. The Muskox's snout is narrow and stout.
When using its ability the Muskox's horns point forwards.
Gold Trimmed Muskox[]
The Gold-Trimmed Muskox possesses all the features a Muskox has. However, it has golden horns, tail, and additional golden fur on the sides of its head.
Brazen Bull[]
The Brazen Bull is a burnt orange color. It has 4 geometrical margins on its back, and its horns are orange and have a melted appearance.
Fireworks Ox[]
The Fireworks Ox is striped blue and white, lacking fur. It has paler blue horns with reddish tips. Blue and purple sparks jump from the tips of the horns. The Fireworks Ox has a light blue nose and blue reflected in its eyes. Its tail is a thin tan stick.
Old/Legacy[]
The old Muskox is a dark gray, nearly black circle with two cream-colored horns pointing forwards. When charging, the horns point more forwards.
Strategy[]
- Eating a few mushroom bushes, collecting snow, and eating some Arctic Nuts, red mushrooms and pears is the fastest way to level up at this animal. Eating a few will easily get the player up to the next level.
- Travelling to the nearest lake and eating ducks and red mushrooms is also effective, as eating one duck will cause the player to instantly level up. Also, Red Mushrooms typically come in bulk at the lake. It is recommended to try and eat a goose if the player sees one, as they will attack them rather than running away. Since they don't deal damage and give the highest XP, it's easier than chasing after a duck.
- The Muskox has the ability to charge, similar to the Rhino. When an animal is hit, it takes a drastic amount of damage and is stunned. Use this to injure and eventually kill prey, or even Mushroom Bushes. When there's a predator turn around, charge, and run away. Arctic Foxes are easy prey for a Muskox. They don't slide well on ice, and the player can easily catch up to one.

Trivia[]
- It was added in the December 26, 2016 Update, along with the Lemming, Arctic Hare, Penguin, Seal, Arctic Fox, Reindeer, Snow Leopard, Walrus, Polar Bear, Wolf and Yeti.
- When it was released, it was called the Musk Ox. It was officially renamed on December 28.
- It has a charge ability but when it was released it didn't have an animation for it. On January 1, 2017, it got a charge animation.
- It doesn't have a tail, but it can be bitten. This is probably due to the fact that the Muskox without animal images turned on has a tail.
- When you press the edit button, a web shows on the Muskox.
